Dr. Lori Roberts Hauser

Dr. Lori Roberts , past president of the South Carolina Optometric Physician’s Association, has been involved with the association, having served as trustee for the board, as legislative chair, as president of the Coastal Carolina Optometric Society and as a state leader for InfantSEE. She serves on a national level as a member of the American Optometric Association Communications Executive Committee. In 2006, Dr. Roberts received the South Carolina Optometric Physician’s Association Optometric Horizon Award, in 2008 & 2011 she received the Tim Burrell Legislative Award, and in 2009 she received the SC Young Optometrist of the year Award. In March of 2011, Dr. Lori Roberts was awarded the Young Optometrist of the South by the Southern Council of Optometrists.

In addition to being a member of the American Optometric Association, the South Carolina Optometric Physician’s Association, and the Coastal Carolina Optometric Society, Dr. Roberts is actively involved with the Association for the Blind, Special Olympics Vision Screenings, VOSH International Southeast, Seacoast Church’s Dream Center Vision Clinic, Long Point Business Club and East Cooper Community Outreach. She is the owner of and practices full time at Belle Hall Eye Care.

A native of Charleston, South Carolina, Dr. Roberts earned her bachelor’s degree from the College of Charleston and her Optometry degree from InterAmerican University School of Optometry. In 2002, she received the Association for Volunteer Services in Optometry from InterAmerican University. She currently resides in Mount Pleasant, SC.


Dr. Rebecca McCormack

Dr. Rebecca McCormack is originally from Charlottesville, Virginia and earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology at the University of Mary Washington graduating magna cum laude. Later, she received her Doctorate of Optometry at the Pennsylvania College of Optometry, graduating with honors. While living in Wilmington, North Carolina during a clinical rotation, she would visit Charleston with her husband on long weekends and they both fell in love with the area and knew that's where they wanted to live. Dr. McCormack is passionate about providing comprehensive eye exams through all phases of life - whether it be a child's first pair of glasses or helping co-manage a patient through cataract surgery. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, crocheting, tennis, hiking and being outdoors with her husband and their Border Collie, Cooper. 

Dr. Kathryn Gahagan

Dr. Gahagan was born and raised in Buffalo, New York. Her college years were spent at the State University of New York at Fredonia earning a bachelor’s degree in the field of Biological Sciences. She then went on to obtain her Doctorate of Optometry from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry.

Dr. Gahagan completed a number of clinical rotations in Philadelphia, Buffalo, and Mount Pleasant. These rotations served to give Dr. Gahagan experience in many aspects of optometry, including primary care, contact lenses, ocular disease, pediatrics and binocular vision. She is currently a member of the American Optometric Association and the South Carolina Optometric Physicians Association

Dr. Gahagan resides in Charleston and in her spare time enjoys running and spending time at the beach.
